Ingredients:Potatoes
Garlic paste
Double cream 2 small tubs
Cheese
lidded oven proof dish
Ok peel and slice your potatoes into thin slices. Cover the base of your dish in them. Then spread a little paste on a few of the potatoes. How many you do is your choice as to how much you like garlic.
Then grate a layer of cheese over the top.
Put a second layer of potato slices, again put a little garlic paste on and again cover with cheese.
I always do a third layer but it really depends on how deep your dish is. After you have done your last layer pour the cream into the four corners.
Then put your lid on and pop in the oven at 190 degrees for 40 mins. After the 40 mins take the lid of and let the cheese on top brown a little for a further 5 mins.
This is lovely served with chicken .
